What does a SWP program cost and are scholarships available?

Program costs vary from USD 500 to USD 2,000 depending on the program.  Scholarships are available for qualified applicants, please enquire before or during the application process by emailing

How intensive is the program?

The program is highly intensive during the 5-day instructional period.  Participants are encouraged to work long hours so that they have at least a working prototype of a product or service by pitch day (the Final Day of the Program).

Are shuttles available to and from the airport?

Shuttles will be provided to and from the airport within the city/country in which the program is taking place. A survey will be conducted shortly before the commencement of the program to attain flight information. Participants who do not fill out the survey or who’s flights are not within the arrival times should email to make other arrangements.

Is food provided?

The program will provide at least two meals per day to all program participants throughout the duration of the program. We strongly recommend bringing additional spending money as teams may wish to dine out together.

When will I hear back regarding my application?

Application response time is usually between 7-14 days after the application has been submitted.

Are flights included in the program fee?

Flights are not included in the program cost, participants are required to make their own travel arrangements if necessary.  Startup With Purpose does, however, often provide transportation within the immediate surroundings of the program.

Do I have to be an entrepreneur to participate in the program?

No!  One does not have to be an entrepreneur to attend a program, and in fact, most participants are not upon arrival. The purpose of the program is to help guide individuals with unique skills and ideas towards completing a project, forming a team, and accessing their future career prospects more accurately.
